Meet Dr. Mark Hunter

Education

Mark S. Hunter, D.M.D., received his predental education from the University of Detroit (1985). He graduated in the top five of his dental school class with a D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine (1989) and received his orthodontic specialty certificate from the Loyola University of Chicago School of Dentistry (1991).

As a specialist in Lingual Braces since 2005, Dr. Hunter regularly attends workshops on the advancement of lingual orthodontic appliances.

Honors & Awards

He was awarded membership in the Matthew Cryer Honor Society (1988), and received the Quintessence Award in Periodontics (1989), and the American Association of Orthodontics Award (1989).

Community Involvement

Dr. Hunter and his family live in Northville, Michigan, where he is an active supporter of the Northville/Novi community.

Art Interest

Dr. Hunter's interest in art stems from his parents, who are both talented artists. He continues their tradition by taking oil painting commissions today.
